Carteret, NJ – Skanska USA, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, announced the promotions of Rebecca Clark and Fintan Doherty to vice president, field operations of Skanska Koch, a division Skanska USA Civil, for its Carteret-based regional operations, which includes Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.
With 23 years of experience in the construction industry, Clark has worked on a number of landmark bridge and transportation projects,
including San Rafael Seismic Retrofit in California, Triborough Bridge Deck Replacement in New York, Brooklyn Bridge Rehabilitation in New York, Fore River Bridge Replacement in Massachusetts, Bayonne Bridge Replacement of the Main Span Roadway & Approach Structures which connects New Jersey to New York, and LaGuardia Airport Terminal B Redevelopment in New York. She is currently leading the Benjamin Franklin Bridge rehabilitation project, which connects Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Camden, New Jersey.
Doherty has 17 years of industry experience working on civil engineering projects, including the Manhattan Bridge suspension cable rehabilitation project in New York, the Transbay Transit Center in San Francisco, California and the George Washington Bridge in New York. He currently leads the Pulaski Skyway project, which connects Newark, New Jersey and Jersey City, New Jersey.

Clark has served several leadership roles in her 19-year tenure at Skanska. Prior to her new appointment, she served as an operations executive where she set the bar for operational efficiency and driving an inclusive culture. Clark is a founding member of the Skanska Women’s Network and she lives Skanska’s Core Values. She received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and her B.A. in Physics from Fairfield University. She also holds an executive MBA in transitional management from Fordham University.
Doherty began his career with Skanska as an assistant project manager in 2012. He received his B.S. in Civil and Structural Engineering from University College Dublin. Doherty also holds a MSE in water and environmental engineering from University College Dublin and a M.S. in project management practice from Smurfit Business School.
