The excavation for The Eight in downtown Bellevue, Washington, began in June of 2021, completing at the end of last year.
Crews extracted 200,000 cubic yards of soil, equivalent to over 60 Olympic sized pools.
More than 55 skilled construction professionals dedicated over 1,000 work hours to achieve this milestone.
The 25-floor Class A+ office tower, retail, and community space is on schedule to deliver in the fourth quarter of 2023.

1550 on the Green, a 28-story, 375,000-square-foot Class-A office building alongside Discovery Green, is the first of three phases of Discovery West.
The three-block master plan will include 1550 on the Green as well as additional restaurants, retail, lush greenery, and more across 3.5 acres.
Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner, President of Central Houston Bob Eury joined leaders from Skanska USA and anchor tenant Norton Rose Fulbright, along with other community partners on-site to celebrate the downtown site.
1550 on the Green is on schedule to be completed in 2024.

The nine-story, Class A office building located in Arlington, Virginia is WELL Core Pre-certified and will target LEED and WiredScore Gold certifications as well as an Energy Star certification.
With expected completion in 2023, 3901 Fairfax will include a 4,000-square foot rooftop terrace, conference center, 3,600 SF ground floor fitness center, electric car charging stations and a public plaza designed and programmed for the community.
OZMA, the 12-story, mixed-use development in Washington, D.C.’s NoMa neighborhood, sets a new standard with its environmentally conscious design.
Once this One Skanska project reaches completion in 2024, it will feature 275 distinctive residential units with tailored finishes, 7,900 square feet of retail space, and 17,000 square feet of sophisticated environments that will include an art studio, a secret garden, rooftop pool lounge with tranquility cabanas, and a Japanese-style tearoom connected to its atrium.

Construction on Heming started in September 2020. Standing nearly 300 feet tall, the 410-unit residential community in Tysons, Virginia will be a towering presence in the Scott’s Run mixed-use development.
