Skanska provided construction management services for the $1.9 million, 26,000-SF renovation on the second floor of the Downtown Orlando Public Library includes labs for: visual arts, film, digital media, graphic design and audio engineering. Renovations will support advanced technology in sound engineering and video production, entry, lobby, classroom, collaboration areas, and FabLab. In addition to a large interactive media wall, it offers sound, film and photography studios along with flight simulators and a fab lab with 3D printers.
