Skanska is providing program management services for the renovation and expansion of the Hart Center and addition of the new Field House in Worcester, Massachusetts. This initiative is focused on enhancing the athletics program and the health and wellness opportunities for the entire student body.
The Hart Center will include a 64,000-SF indoor practice facility, auxiliary gymnasium for basketball team practice and volleyball practice/competition, 3,000-SF of new space for sports medicine and student-athlete welfare, 9,500-SF of new space for strength and conditioning training and equipment. The project will also include new locker rooms for varsity teams, offices for all programs and athletic department staff, a new large group meeting theatre, meeting rooms, and recruiting spaces, interior entry and an exterior plaza for events and a renovated Hall of Fame area to feature the storied history of Holy Cross Athletics.
