TAMPA, FL — Thaddeus Bullard aka WWE Global Ambassador Titus O’Neil and the Bullard Family Foundation in partnership with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and presented by AdventHealth, Fran Haasch Law Group and Skanska provided 30,000 backpacks filled with supplies to Tampa Bay area students at the sixth annual Back to School Bash.
“The ability to invest in and serve our community is at the core of how Skanska does business and we’re excited to partner with the Bullard Family Foundation to continue to provide essential supplies and backpacks to the many students in need,” said Daniel Abou-Jaoude, Vice President of Skanska’s Florida operations.
During the free, public event, children and their families were treated to a free backpack filled with school supplies, free medical, dental and vision services, as well as complimentary haircuts, food and entertainment.
With the aid of an impressive list of partners and sponsors, we can humbly fill the needs of so many Tampa Bay area families and make a difference in an impactful way,” said Bullard. “The Back-to-School Bash is not just about giving kids the school supplies they need to succeed, but also about giving them the wrap-around resources free of charge that will truly allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
In preparation for the event, over 500 volunteers gathered at Raymond James Stadium to stuff all 30,000 backpacks with much-needed school supplies including writing utensils, notebooks, folders and glue sticks to ensure bay area students were ready to return to the classroom.
