Skanska USA, a leading global construction and development firm, announces the promotion of Farhad Soltanieh to Chief Financial Officer of Skanska’s Asset Management group.
As CFO, Soltanieh will oversee all aspects of financial management for Asset Management.
Farhad has worked at Skanska for 16 years, most recently providing strategic investment and financing support and counsel to its US Commercial Development and Building operations. He previously worked with Skanska’s Infrastructure Development group for 10 years, during which time he led the project financing of the $4 billion transformation of LaGuardia Airport in New York.
“Since joining Skanska, Farhad has made significant contributions and played a pivotal role in the Company’s investment and development operations,” said Pontus Winqvist, managing director for Skanska’s Asset Management group. “Farhad brings a deep knowledge and expertise in project development and financing, and we are confident in his leadership of Asset Management’s financial operations.
Soltanieh succeeds Pablo Rabagliati, who will assume the role of CFO with Skanska’s US Commercial Development group. Soltanieh's appointment is effective September 1, 2021.
