Skanska, a global construction and development firm, has announced Lena Ulvi as Senior Vice President, Head of USA Human Resources (HR) Shared Services, reporting to Richard Kennedy, Executive Vice President of Skanska AB and President and Chief Executive Officer of Skanska USA.
In her role, Ulvi is responsible for developing and implementing Skanska’s U.S. HR function, overseeing centers of excellence in talent development and learning, employer policy and compliance, compensation, benefits, HR systems and services, and college recruitment.
“Lena has demonstrated the right executive partnership, strategies and focus that our business needs to drive and coordinate foundational and aligned approaches across the U.S.— all while staying connected and enabling our business units,” Kennedy said. “I look forward to working with Lena in this role and the incredible colleagues in our HR shared services team.”
Ulvi brings over 20 years of operational experience in HR, seven of those with Skanska in multiple HR leadership positions. Ulvi in her role will also collaborate with the USA heads of shared services in Information Technology, Environmental Health and Safety, and Communications.
