Skanska has booked an additional order with an existing client for improvements to their corporate campus in Western USA. The incremental contract with our joint venture of Skanska Balfour Beatty is worth $171 million. Skanska’s contract value is $85.5 million which will be included in the US order bookings for the second quarter 2019.
Construction is underway.
Skanska is one of the leading construction and development companies in USA, specialized in building construction, civil infrastructure and developing commercial properties in select U.S. markets. Skanska USA had sales of SEK 67 billion in 2018 and had about 9,000 employees in its operations.
