Skanska builds engineering school facility in North Carolina, USA, for USD 85M, about SEK 690M

Skanska has signed a contract with Duke University to build a new engineering building at the Duke University campus in Durham, North Carolina, USA. The contract is worth USD 85M, about SEK 690M, which will be included in the US order bookings for the first quarter 2018.

The contract consists of the construction of about a 14,000-square-meter new engineering school facility that will house computational and wet labs.

Site work began in February 2018, and the project is expected to be complete in November 2020.
