Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and project development firms, announced the promotions of Philip Carter and Todd Predmore to vice presidents supporting the company’s operations in Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Both Carter and Predmore will directly oversee project teams and pursuits, providing continuity from preconstruction services through completion of construction. They will partner with their clients to understand intended project outcomes for all stakeholders, offering counsel based on decades of construction knowledge throughout the state and region.
Carter’s portfolio includes projects ranging from aviation and sports to education at both the K-12 and university levels. A 34-year industry veteran, he has been one of the company’s leaders in bringing employees into Skanska’s Injury-Free Environment® culture, frequently training project teams about Skanska’s approach. Recently, he helped pilot Skanska’s new Care for Life workshop, which aims to help our entire industry achieve zero job site incidents. Carter has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno.
Predmore has nearly 20 years of industry experience, entirely with Skanska, and has significant experience in project sectors such as manufacturing, logistics, commercial, healthcare and education. He holds several certifications in support of environmental, health and safety efforts, such as OSHA 30-Hour training and LEED accreditation. Predmore has a bachelor’s degree from Washington State University.
“Both Phil and Todd have been key contributors to our local business and have been role models for how to partner with our customers for mutual success,” said Skanska Executive Vice President and General Manager Jim Link. “Their projects have consistently yielded positive outcomes in safety, budget and schedule.”
