Brief Overview
The new complex consists of three buildings including a Fleet Services Building, and a Field Services Building.
The Fleet Services building will house:
Ten large vehicle maintenance bays, including eleven hoist bays
Six maintenance bays for cars and light trucks
Storage for parts and tools
Offices
A machine shop
Small engine repair shop
A conference/lunch/training room
Locker rooms
Refueling station
Car wash
The Field Services building includes:
Administrative offices for City’s engineering/streets/parks staff
Carpenter and sign shops
A large multi-purpose room
Conference room
Meter storage and repair area
Storage for the water and sewer system departments
Locker rooms
The DPW complex is being built on a designated brownfield site—previously an electroplating facility.
