Bauer Drill rigs are well known for their speed and reliability.
Listed below are some Bauer Drills that are a part of the Underpinning and Foundation fleet.
The Bauer BG-22H is the strongest drill rig in our Bauer Fleet turning out 18 cubic tons of torque.
The BG-22, pictured above, is used extensivly on the project to rehabilitate the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway.
The BG-18, seen to the left, has been customized with a low headroom boom utilizing shorter casing sections and shorter drill bits to drill down to depths of 100'. This drill rig was first used on the project to rehabilitate Lexington Avenue/53rd Street Subway Station in Manhattan. It was lowered just below the street and drilled down from what will be the new mezzanine level, to the existing subway platform.
