Underpinning was selected to install 137 ton capacity H-Piles to rock for the Trump New World Building “G” as part of the Riverside South Development. Approximately 1400 nos. piles will be installed for the 21 story building and 45,000 square feet relieving platform. The project requires piles to be installed alongside an active AmTrack Rail Line.
The project requires installation of all piles plus six static compression load tests to 274 tons be completed in seven weeks. Underpinning was able to convince the owners to perform only two compression tests and 8 PDA tests to meet the schedule. The piles are being installed with two Junttan Pile Driving rigs outfitted with HHK7 Hydraulic Hammers. |
Contract is valued at approx. $1.7m US.
