CDC Building 21 serves as the new CDC headquarters and emergency operations building at the agency’s Edward R. Roybal campus in Atlanta, Georgia. As the campus centerpiece, the 12-story facility was designed and constructed to be architecturally significant, with extensive use of innovative materials. The project recently received Silver LEED certification due to the incorporation of numerous energy-efficient systems and meeting CDC’s lifecycle requirements of 50-75 years for components.
