As the construction manager at risk, Skanska in a joint venture with Moss is responsible for all preconstruction, construction management, and post-construction services needed to support the design and construction of for the $80 million Greenville-Spartanburg Airport International Terminal Improvement Program. This multi-phase program includes major renovations to the existing terminal, as well as expanding the overall footprint of the airport.
The improvements to passenger terminal building will be highly sustainable and substantially improve overall passenger flow and service. The terminal will also be upgraded to meet current Transportation Security Administration (TSA) standards for processing and security. Components of the program include: temporary facilities, multiple and phased tenant relocations, demolition, reconstruction, renovation, expansion, baggage handling system improvements, passenger security enhancements, sustainability and energy efficiency improvements, multiple phases of construction and multiple bid packages.
