Skanska USA Awarded Contract for Greenbelt Test Track and Commissioning Facility in Prince George’s County, Md.
Skanska USA today announced that has been awarded a $66 million contract from the Washington Metro Area Transit Authority (WMATA) to design and construct a test track, commissioning facility, parking garage and other facilities near the existing Greenbelt Maintenance Yard in Prince George’s County, Md. The new facility will allow WMATA to conduct testing and to commission new and rehabilitated rail vehicles.
