IT Manager
Job description
Skanska USA Inc. is seeking a National IT Manager, Field Services for its Charlotte, NC office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all IT support services delivered by the Field services team. This includes day to day IT support, jobsite mobilization and demobilization, and support of any IT projects requiring field services team involvement. The National Manager will ensure that IT support services are delivered and performed in a highly professional manner and in accordance with established standard processes and procedures. Collaboration with Business Unit Senior Management, local/regional BU executives and staff, and IT Management and staff is required to schedule work, manage project deliverables and help develop a process for continuous improvement.
Profile
Ability to manage several tasks or projects at once.
Ability to manage direct reports effectively to ensure projects and day to day support are completed on time
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with appropriate parties
Ability to understand technology processes and tools and utilize them to improve on all our technology efforts
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university or 3 years or more of related experience and/or training;
2 plus years employee management/project management experience
Budget management experience
3 plus years of technical support experience in a PC/Networking environment
Construction-related industry experience a plus
Excellent Customer service skills a must.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
