Regional Manager - IT
Job description
The Regional Manager is responsible for all IT services delivery in their respective/assigned region. This includes but may not be limited to all regional corporate office and jobsite support as well as jobsite mobilizations/demobilizations. Must ensure a collaborative working relationship between regional corporate office, jobsite , and IT personnel to schedule work, manage project deliverables, and help develop a process for continuous service improvement.. All of these responsibilities must be performed in a highly professional manner. The Regional Manager must be an excellent multi-tasker. He/she must be able to clearly communication both verbally and in writing. This position will have direction people management responsibilities as well as regular, required travel.
Profile
• Manage the tactical delivery of day to day information systems and computing resources for the local region
• Assess, mentor, and coach current assigned direct reports ensuring the highest level employee performance based on organizational goals, processes, and procedures
• Focus on continuous employee improvement
• Interview for additional staff as needed to ensure the highest level of customer service is maintained
• Team with all IT functional teams, IT Senior Management, and corporate and divisional management to meet the needs of the regional customers
• Effectively resolve personnel issues within guidelines and with HR involvement
• Evaluate employees for reviews/evaluations
• Oversee staff billable time requirements, where applicable
• Execute appropriate teamwork and communications with all divisional departments of the organization within their assigned region to ensure we are meeting their needs
