While the projects we build help enrich our communities, our community commitment doesn’t stop there. Skanska is dedicated to being an active participant in the communities we work in.
Every year Skanska’s Connecticut team participates in a variety of activities that support the needy in out community. Through donations of money or our services, we choose to be an active participant in charitable causes.
Our activities just in the past year illustrate our commitment. We’ve walked to support heart health with the American Heart Association in Fairfield County. We’ve rolled up our shirt sleeves to help make repairs to a home as part of the AmeriCares program. We’ve made donations to a variety of groups including the Ronald McDonald House.
These are just a few – and we’re always planning more and encouraging our employees to take an active role on their own. Because we don’t just build the facilities that make Connecticut great. We build the Constitution State’s communities.
